My auntie was just from Malang last week, and I was quite surprised with the souvenir she brought to me. It was apple cake! I rarely eat any Apple nuanced foods my whole life. Yet, I think that the apple cake she gave was amazing. I have eaten chocolate and cheese cake before, but this one is definitely different than others. There's a weird sour taste in the cake, and it's exactly the reason why the cake is very delicious. I never imagined myself eating cake this tasty!
I'm not sure the price is cheap. Thankfully, I got it freely. I guess, it's quite expensive judging from the look and the taste of the cake. Nevertheless, the cake is really worth it. You might want to consider purchasing the cake if you ever plan to come to Malang. I really recommend the cake! You can buy it as souvenir or you can just eat it for yourself. It's your call!
